Standard Wall Tent Features
Handcrafted to meet the tough requirements of professional outfitters and guides, Elk Horn Tents are in demand from coast to coast and throughout Canada and Alaska. These high-quality tents are ridge reinforced end to end with all corners double stitched for added strength constructed to withstand heavy use and extreme elements.
Standard features include a true five-foot wall, 4" eves, sod flap, zippered doors, ropes, tighteners, and storage bag. The Stove-jacks are constructed of a siliconized fiberglass and kevlar thread and come positioned to your order and offered in 4", 5", or 6" sizes. Use your tent with traditional ridge poles or frames.
Double reinforced 7" lap over the full length of door opening with ties every 16" for a better weather seal. All seams are double-lock stitched with a self-healing zipper sewn into the inside of flap. This deters heat loss and gives an overall better weather seal.

We design the world's best wall tent for outfitters, packers, extreme hikers, and hunters who enjoy venturing deep into the mountain ranges. We've even had folks that go glamping have us build their tents!
For peak performance, we recommend conditioning your new tent before your first outing. First, set it up outdoors with all eve ropes and walls properly staked. Sprinkle tent with the garden hose, let dry and repeat the process one or two more times. This cycle allows the canvas to close and pores to tighten. If unable to condition ahead of time, be sure to leave the eave ropes loose enough to allow the canvas to "tighten" during your first rain or snow.
Choose from standard tent sizes or customize your own. All of our tents are available in two tough fabrics.
